Yadira Hernandez Castro Death Charlotte, N.C. — Authorities and family are searching for Yadira Hernandez Castro, an 18-year-old woman from Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina, who has been reported missing. Her family is asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Yadira was last seen near Academy and Crowell Drive in downtown Concord late at night during a recent winter storm. Her last contact with family was around 10 p.m., and since then, she has not been heard from. Her cellphone was later found in an abandoned store, but there has been no confirmed sighting of her.
She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, with black curly hair and black eyes, and was last seen wearing a brown puffer jacket, cheetah-print pants, and boots. With freezing temperatures following the storm, concern for her safety is high.
The Concord Police Department is urging anyone with information about Yadira’s whereabouts to come forward immediately. Her family continues to plead for tips and assistance as they search for her.
