Corey Spiller Death Bonham, Texas — It is with heavy hearts that the family of Corey Spiller announces his passing on January 31, 2026, at the age of 24. Born on March 2, 2001, in Greenville, Texas, Corey was a beloved son, devoted father, cherished brother, and a valued member of his community.
Corey grew up in Dodd City and later graduated from high school in Waller, Texas. He worked on farms and ranches before becoming a dedicated truck driver, taking pride in his work and enjoying the time spent alongside family, especially his uncle and grandfather.
Above all, Corey cherished his role as a father to his son, Kase McCrae Garner, sharing a deep and loving bond. He had a wide range of interests, including golf, roping, music, and history, particularly documentaries. Corey was known for his engaging spirit, often gathering family and friends to play dominoes and enjoy each other’s company.
Corey also served his community as a member of the Bailey Volunteer Fire Department, showing his commitment to helping others.
He is survived by his son, parents, girlfriend, sisters, grandparents, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, grandfather, great-great-aunt, and a cousin.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6 at First Baptist Church of Bonham, with interment at Philadelphia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to support Corey’s son, Kase, through an account at First United Bank and Trust in Bonham.
Corey Spiller will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with family and friends. His spirit will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
